Weekly Assignments December 12-16

Dear  Parents,
    What a wonderful week!!  Our Christmas Around the World power point presentations were absolutely  outstanding!! We learned so very much about  customs and traditions in other countries.  We know how blessed we really are.  Our weekly folder will go home on Thursday.  It will include all grades for this term.  The folder will also include your child's end of term grade report.
    I hope you are enjoying the devotional chain each day.
    Our Christmas party will be on Thursday at 2:00.  Friday dismissal is at 11:30.  Students will return to school on Wednesday, January 4th.

Weekly Assignments December 5-9

Dear Parents,
     We have completed our Christmas Around the World presentations, and are looking forward to sharing them on the MAC laptops next week.  The computer skills continue to grow by leaps and bounds!  The Superstars enjoyed practicing math facts and mastering several capital letters on the IPads.  Please continue to master the multiplication facts through five.
     We are working to keep Christ in Christmas.  Hope you will enjoy the Devotional Chain each day with your child.
      There will be a Monday folder going home on December 12th.  We will send the last folder home on December 16th.  This folder will include all the ending grades for the nine week grading period.

Weekly Assignments November 7-11

Dear Parents,
     Just a note to let you know we are doing well in our multiplication!!  Please let your child go to www.honorpoint.com to practice the 2's and 5's tables.  We have used this in computer lab and it is an absolutely wonderful website.  It will be useful next week as we begin the 3's.  Our field trip to the Davis Theater is Wednesday.  We are excited to see "Ramona Quimby."  Midterm grade sheets will be in the Monday folder.  Friday is a holiday as we celebrate Veterans who have served our country.

Hello Parents,
We certainly enjoyed our visit to Lanark Nature Center. Thank you parents for driving! It was nice to experience an outside classroom with the joys of hiking, catching fish, and identifying forms of plant and animal life!

Our students enjoyed visiting the middle school "classroom cell" this week. They enjoyed seeing cells made with "trash" from home!

Testing Week--September 19-23!!


Due to standardized testing this week of September 19-23, there will be no homework or tests.  Folders will not go home on Monday, September 26.

Please be sure that your child gets a good night's sleep, eats a nutritious breakfast, and has 2-3 no. 2 sharpened pencils with erasers!  Parents will furnish a "testing snack and drink" each day, so your child does not need to bring a snack or drink this week.

Friday afternoon, September 26, is the Fall Festival from 2:00-3:00!
