This is an early post for the week after Thanksgiving. I know some of you may need to bring home books over the holidays. Weekly Assignments November 14-18
Dear Parents,
We enjoyed the "Ramona Quimby" play at the Davis Theater . As students wrote about the play, I was very impressed at their recall of details and sequence of events. Many thanks to our moms who drove carpools for us. Tuesday,November 15th, Book Reports and Think-about-it Sheets are due. Look for these to be displayed in the hallway later next week. Have a wonderful Veteran's Day holiday.

Weekly Assignments November 7-11
Dear Parents,
Just a note to let you know we are doing well in our multiplication!! Please let your child go to www.honorpoint.com to practice the 2's and 5's tables. We have used this in computer lab and it is an absolutely wonderful website. It will be useful next week as we begin the 3's. Our field trip to the Davis Theater is Wednesday. We are excited to see "Ramona Quimby." Midterm grade sheets will be in the Monday folder. Friday is a holiday as we celebrate Veterans who have served our country.

It is so hard to believe it is already November!! The week ahead looks busy and exciting! In reading, we will begin a series of Historical Fiction stories. Children love these! Have them share with you each night. On Monday, we begin multiplication. Please refer to the letter I am sending for you in the Monday folder as to the best way to help your child master the facts. This works! The "Think About It" information that follows the Biography book for our Book Report will also be sent home Monday. All directions are there for you. Thank you for arranging your schedule for our conferences. I look forward to meeting with you. Have a great weekend.
